Offensive Player of the Week
Week 7 produced many outstanding performances but the one that came out on top belongs to the Rams' 5's battering ram RB Steven Jackson. Jackson punished the Chargers for 141 yards, and 4 TDs on 22 carries. His impressive performance lifted the Rams over the Chargers 35-28.
Runner up: MIN RB Adrian Peterson - 17 car, 171 yards, and 3 TDs
Defensive Player of the Week
The Defensive POW for Week 6 belongs to a second consecutive 49er, pass rushing expert OLB Manny Lawson. Lawson worked his magic to accumulate 3 tackles and 2 sacks. His solid performance helped the 49ers beat the Raiders 21-17 and remain unbeaten.
Runner up: STL James Laurinaitis - 2 tackles and 2 INTs
