Week 12's top offensive performance once again belongs to the Chiefs electrifying RB Jamaal Charles. This is Charles' 2nd consecutive POW. The speed back had a total of 212 yards (28 yds receiving) and 3 TDs (1 TD reception) on 21 carries (and 4 receptions). His fantastic performance helped the Chiefs overwhelm the Raiders, 30-12. The Chiefs are now 7-4 and one game behind the AFC West leading Broncos. As for the Raiders, the loss also puts them at 7-4 and also are just one game behind the Broncos in this tight AFC West division.
The most valuable defensive performance of Week 12 goes to the Bengals veteran CB Melvin Bullit. The hard-hitting SS had a terrific day with 3 INTs and 1 tackle. Melvin's defensive performance helped the Bengals edge out the Ravens in a close 31-28 victory. The win puts the Bengals at 8-3 and one game behind the Ravens who are the leaders of their AFC North division. The Ravens, now at 9-2 remain AFC North's leaders and will hope to redeem themselves soon against their rivals.
